CONTOUR MODELLING

Contouring is fundamental to our method of topographical survey. Every surveyed point, (unlike in some modelling packages) has a valid level associated. This ensures that our contour model is a true representation of the existing terrain.

Using LSS software in combination with our field coding procedures, contours can be output at any desired height interval. Plots can be generated using colour banding for visual interpretation.

The integrity of the model is paramount and is strictly maintained using complex algorithms. A combination of triangulated observations, coded strings and break lines are used to create and maintain the model.
