GPS CONTROL
The successful GPS control survey relies on observing a large amount of good quality data; receivers remaining stationary during the observations and significant geometry change in the satellite constellation.
Processing static control is carried out using RINEX data downloaded from OS and Smartnet websites.
Simultaneous sets of observed data are processed and re-processed using different baseline combinations to confirm tolerance to specification.
For Quality Assurance purposes SmartNet is used to verify all processed static control in order to include additional redundancy. This allows us to have the ultimate confidence in our reported results.
