High-Definition Surveying not only offers many benefits to measurement professionals, but to the recipients and users of accurate spatial datasets. Our Leica Scanstation can automatically capture a dense grid of surface points remotely. The scanner captures anything between 1,000 and 50,000 points/sec depending on the defined resolution, the notion being that the instrument is essentially "doing the data capture" for the vast majority of the project. The process is supplemented by robotic instruments to ensure that nothing is missed and quality control checks are carried out.
