RICS SPECIFICATION

The RICS Specification for “Surveys of Land, Buildings and Utility Services at Scales of 1:500 and Larger” is the standard to which all professional Land Surveyors should adhere.

It is widely accepted within the industry as the starting point for the commission of any survey work relating to land and measurement of buildings. Why is it then, we ask ourselves, that 85% of our clients have never heard of it !

During the course of the next year Maltby Land Surveys Ltd will be developing an on-line specification which will go some way in addressing the issues / problems with badly written specifications. The consequences of which sadly are not always apparent until its too late.
